What happens in the free taster lesson? Our free assessment sessions give us a chance to see if Arka will be a suitable environment for your child to learn in and, more importantly, give you and your child the opportunity to meet our team, see our centre and decide if it's the right place for you. During the assessment we will set your child some Maths and English materials to work through. We aim to make our assessment sessions relaxed and enjoyable to give children an authentic experience of an actual tutoring session at Arka. At the end of the assessment we will give you a high level overview of your child's level and our recommended starting point for their learning programme at Arka. Once signed up, children are assessed during each centre and also undertake more comprehensive assessments every few months to track their progress.

How long are classes?Classes are one hour long, allowing students either to spend an entire hour on one subject or split the class into two 30 minute sessions, allowing them to cover Maths and English.
